 A Better Day Foundation™, based in Houston, TX, is a 501(c)(3) tax‑exempt nonprofit organization dedicated to building safer, healthier, and more equitable communities. Rooted in compassion and driven by measurable impact, the Foundation works across social justice, animal welfare, mental health, and community empowerment to create lasting change nationwide.

Our mission began with direct community support through the Feed The Community Initiative™, providing food security, essential resources, and hope to individuals and families. We expanded this commitment through State of Me, State of Mind™ Initiative which delivers mental‑health resources, crisis support, and community education to strengthen emotional well‑being. 

Today, A Better Day Foundation™ leads a powerful portfolio of reform‑driven initiatives:

• Beyond the Shadows Project™ — exposing hidden cruelty, strengthening animal‑welfare laws, and driving enforcement reform.
• Avril’s Law — advancing strict shelter reform, accountability, funding, and stronger protections for animals across public and private facilities.
• Justice Forward Initiative™ — championing criminal and social justice reform, demanding accountability for judges, prosecutors, and attorneys, and addressing systemic flaws in the judicial system.
